SYNOPSIS

Ever since Jennifer exchanged her high-flying career for a life by the sea with her son, Charlie and their dog, Sausage, she hasn't looked back. Not once. Not on the emotional debris of her broken engagement to fiancé, Dave, nor the one night of stupidity that caused it. But all that is about to change... Four-year-old Charlie's new life at school has started well: he's made friends, settled in, is beginning to make his own little way in the world. Jennifer has to look to rebuilding her own life. But when a casual trip to the doctor leads to Charlie facing the biggest challenge of his young life, Jennifer has to confront the past she thought she could safely forget.
